Two arched sculptures, Taff Street, Pontypridd
The sculptures were installed in Taff Street, near the corner of Crossbrook Street, in 2008 as part of regeneration work. They were designed by artist Howard Bowcott, who said that his work was inspired by the huge chain links made at the former Brown Lenox works in Pontypridd. The sculptures also feature inspiring words from poet and playwright Menna Elfyn cut into the polished steel.
