Eastern arm of the Wilderness Lake, Porthcawl
This stretch of water meets the main part of the lake at the latter’s southern end (which is seen in the foreground in Image). Some maps show this eastern arm meeting the main part of the lake again about a third of the way up the latter’s east bank, thereby completing a loop.
