No longer the village shop, Heol-y-cyw
Viewed across High Street in November 2014, when a FREEHOLD BUSINESS FOR SALE board is
on the wall. A notice on the door shows that the shop closed down on Sunday February 2nd 2014.
In October 2008, http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1019660 the shop was open but the post office inside the shop had gone.

Bethel Newydd Chapel, Heol-y-cyw
The first chapel in the village, Bethel Hen, was built in 1820. In 1906 it was replaced by the larger chapel seen here, Bethel Newydd, on the west side of High Street. No denomination was shown on the chapel nameboard at the November 2014 date of this view.
