Dimbath House, Dimbath Lane, nr Glynogwr
The house dates from the early part of the C19th. The owner told me that it was originally built to be a pub, at a time when it was hoped that coal would be found in the area. In the event, this hope of coal, and a consequent thirsty workforce, came to nothing,and the house has only ever been a dwelling.
