Celtic Cross war memorial, Coity
Located in front of St Mary's church hall. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1689765
On the column of the cross are recorded the names of the men of the parish who fell in the Great War 1914-1918.
On the base of the cross are recorded the names of those who fell in the Second World War 1939-1945.

Coity Castle
Seen here from the churchyard of St Mary's church, Coity Castle - the best preserved medieval castle in Glamorgan - was built by the Normans in about 1100. It later withstood sieges by the forces of Owain Glyndwr in the 15th century and continued to be occupied as late as the 18th century. However, by 1833 it was in ruins and is now a scheduled ancient monument.
