View across Ewenny toward Bridgend
The Afon Alun meets the River Ogmore at Ewenny having passed between Ewenny and Old Castle Downs. The Vale railway line from Cardiff/Barry/Llantwit Major follows the course of the river through the valley and onward to Bridgend. In the centre of the photograph can be seen some of the operating plant located within one of several limestone quarries in the immediate area.
