Big trucks and country roads!
Photograph taken immediately after incident occurred. Close examination suggests that part of the structure of what appears to be a large aerial platform overhangs the side of its low loader. The loader is already too large to safely negotiate the narrow road and its bends so the extra width has contributed to this becoming an even greater problem. Even more worrying is that the load might have shifted in transit!

The road bends sharply as it approaches the valley, Rhiw Forgan, to the right. The hill to the left has been extensively quarried on its southern side at Pant quarry.
