Observed by a CCTV camera high up on a pole, this car park on the south side of the station is near the entrance to the platform for trains to Swansea. Another small car park http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/3251281 is near the other platform, for trains to Cardiff.

Footpath entrance to Pyle railway station
From Bryn-yr-Orsaf to platform 1 for trains to Swansea. The notice states
"This footpath is for access to the Railway Station only and is not a designated thoroughfare"
and the Welsh equivalent. The footbridge gives access to platform 2 for trains to Cardiff.
