Bishop Childs, St Mellons
Bishop Childs Church in Wales primary school, Willowbrook Drive.
The school opened in April 1988. The Bishop of Monmouth officially opened the school and dedicated it to the memory of Archbishop Childs on June 17 1988. Derrick Greenslade Childs was the 7th Church in Wales Bishop of Monmouth (1972-1986), and Archbishop of Wales (1983-1986). He died in 1987.
