The Roath Park: scheduled for demolition
The former Roath Park public house, on the corner of City Road and Kincraig Street in Cardiff, has recently been approved by the local council for demolition.

The Gaiety Cinema in City Road
The Gaiety Grand Cinema opened in 1912, originally with a seating capacity of 800. The most notable feature of the facade is a pair of small domes on either side of the entrance.
It was re-modelled and enlarged in 1934 by architect William S. Wort and the seating capacity increased to 1,518. In the 60's it became bowling alley and then a bingo hall, now it stands shabby and forlorn awaiting a new buyer.
