The C.R.I.
Or Cardiff Royal Infirmary, to give it the proper title. This former facility was founded in 1837 as the King Edward Hospital but became the C.R.I. in 1923. With a new hospital built elsewhere, the majority of the wards closed in 1999, but a few particular medical facilities remain here under the University of Wales.

Church in the round
St James the Great casts a large shadow over the surrounding area, with its massive spire and this circular apse. Sadly the church is now a site in need of new life. See Image] for another view.
