Class 37 No. 37421 departs Lisvane & Thornhill station with the 07:43 Rhymney to Cardiff Central commuter service. It seems likely now that locomotive-hauled operations on this line will be coming to end in a few weeks' time.

Lisvane & Thornhill railway station car park, Cardiff
Extending for 100 metres from the south side of Cherry Orchard Road, the car park is on the west side of the station. The notice on the left states that parking is restricted to customers of Arriva Trains Wales only. Offenders will be prosecuted under Byelaw 14. The text is also in Welsh.
