Mystery posts, Caerphilly Rd, Cardiff
For months, improvement work has been going on in Caerphilly Rd. The latest element is the installation of a large number of posts with, so far, nothing on them. Here, there are no fewer than eight at the junction with Pedair Erw Road, five on the south side, three on the north. Mystery solved. Four now carry No Loading signs, two announce the start or end (depending on what direction they are approached from) of the cycle way on the pavement, and two announce the new bus and cycle lane in the road.
