Cardiff : North Road bus stop adjacent to Gabalfa Interchange
Several bus services stop here, including the X30 service operated by Newport Bus. Daily except Sundays, this service operates at 20 minute intervals from Newport bus station to Cardiff bus station, via the M4 motorway and Gabalfa, returning by the same route. Scheduled journey time from bus station to bus station is 35 minutes. The time allowed for Gabalfa to Cardiff bus station is 15 minutes. First and last departures from Newport are 7am and 6pm, and 7.45am and 6.45 pm from Cardiff.
This location is a timing stop for the X30 service, which means that the bus will stop here if the time taken from Cardiff bus station is less than 15 minutes. This ensures that, for example, the 8.15 departure from Cardiff bus station does not leave here before 8.30.
