King Edward VIII pillarbox, Heol Don, Whitchurch, Cardiff
A rare example of a pillarbox from the reign of the uncrowned King Edward VIII.
He was king from January 20th 1936 until his abdication on December 11th 1936.
After the abdication, some King Edward VIII pillarboxes had their door
replaced with a King George VI door. The pillarbox is located here. http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/5492939
