The zebra crossing is close to the nearby school and community centre. The old Whitchurch Community Centre has been demolished since this photograph was taken and a replacement is being built.

St Mary's Gardens, Whitchurch, Cardiff
This is the site of the former St Mary's Church and churchyard. The church was demolished in 1904 after the new St Mary's Imagewas built. The outline of the building is preserved, and the stones paving it are memorial stones. Others are still standing in the former churchyard.
