Shree Swaminarayan Temple - Cardiff
The temple was the first of its kind in Wales when it was opened in 1982. It stands on the site of a disused printing press warehouse, previously a synagogue and was purchased for £22,000 with the help of a loan received from Willesden Temple in London and from the satsangis, followers of Swaminarayan, in Cardiff. The temple was renovated between 2005 and 2007 at a cost of £700,000.
