Exning new cemetery
This cemetery is situated on the western outskirts of Exning, at the junction of Laceys Lane and Heath Road. The inscription on the monument in the foreground explains that the cemetery was consecrated on 10 September 1995 by the Right Reverend John Dennis, then Lord Bishop of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich.

New River at Exning
New River rises up from the Seven Springs in Newmarket and flows through Exning, Landwade, Fordham, Burwell and Wicken, where it connects to Monk's Lode. Here it is quite narrow and shallow, with houses backing onto one side and a paddock on the other.
