Black Bank Station
View NW, towards March; March - Ely main line. This station was closed to passengers just 10 days later (17/6/63), but was open for goods until 19/4/65. Typical Fenland scene: everything dead level and dead straight.

Black Bank railway station (site), Cambridgeshire
Opened in 1847 as Little Downham by the Eastern Counties Railway, later part of the Great Eastern Railway, on the line from Ely to Peterborough. It was renamed Black Bank in 1853 and closed to passengers in 1963, closing completely in 1965.
