Hereward Way atop the Hundred Foot Bank
The long distance path heading remorselessly north eastwards in a dead straight line on an embankment above the New Bedford River.
It is seeking a place to cross the river - bridges being in short supply.

Hundred Foot Bank
The end of the barbed wire fence that follows the road, allowing easy access to the footpath along the top of the bank. Hundred Foot Bank is the south-eastern side of the Ouse Washes.
