Cambridge Observatory Annex (1892-3)
This Victorian annex was added to the original Observatory building as additional accommodation for Sir Robert Ball and his family. Sir Robert Ball was Director of the Observatory from 1892-1913.

Cambridge Observatory (1823) North Front
The rear of the Observatory is difficult to photograph as it is normally in shade. This picture shows the room for a zenith telescope (with wind vane on top) which was never used for a telescope.
