It must be bin day - the wheelie bins are prominent in this shot. Also note that the final surface topping for the road has not yet been laid -this phase of the development (LC03) had only just been completed when the photo was taken.

A set-piece group of houses around a shared piece of open space. I believe the loose gravel driveway surfacing shown here was later replaced with bound gravel as it was being churned up and moved around by car movements.
