Whittlesford: a stinkpipe on Middlemoor Road
A green cast-iron sewer vent pipe, with a Neighbourhood Watch notice attached, rises through the branches on the left. Most South Cambridgeshire stinkpipes are concrete cased, but this is the slender and by comparison rather graceful type, with coronet cap, found in some villages - see Image] and Image
