Cherry Hinton Road on a June evening
The red sign on the right is at the entrance to the Army Reserve Centre, the base of 254 Medical Regiment. On the left, near the corner of Derwent Close, is a rusty and leaning sewer stink pipe with its crown casting missing from the top.

Cambridge: postbox № CB1 74, Cherry Hinton Road
So very 1970s, the square Type G pillar boxes were produced by Carron of Falkirk. This one stands on the corner of Laundress Lane, and is emptied finally at 5:30pm on weekdays and at 12:45pm on Saturdays.
