Cowper Road pavement peril
The chimney of the chemist's shop on the corner of Cherry Hinton and Cowper Roads had crumbled a little, so passers-by were warned of the danger of interestingly-spelled "falling maisonary".

Cherry Hinton Road: a new shop about to open
At quarter to nine final preparations were being made before NJ Groceries opened for the first time. The shop was until February 2021 a branch of Boots. Image] was taken a few weeks earlier and has links to other pictures.

Cowper Road: snow in early spring
There was heavy snow in the north of the country, but in Cambridge this snowfall lasted for about an hour, settling on roofs and in gardens. By 11 o'clock it had gone - par for the course in these parts.
