Upgrading Council houses on Ross Street
The houses on Ross Street which are still Council-tenanted are being improved with insulating cladding, new windows, solar panels and heat pumps. Cambridge City Council and a company, Axis, are "working with households in Ross Street and Coldham's Grove [to] deliver substantial energy efficiency improvements and create warmer, healthier council homes that are economical to run". External cladding has been applied to this row. The house on the right was the first to be completed.
