The Grade II listing for the house on the left begins "C17-C18 cottage. One and a half storeys with attics. Timber-framed and plastered. Hipped thatched roof with wide sweep to the east end."

The parish church is to the left of the Grade II listed former granary at Church Farm. The Grade II listing for The Hall begins "C17 timber-framed and plastered house with C18 additions. Restored and renovated with the timber framing exposed on the front."

Langley: in the churchyard

Langley: St John the Evangelist - from the south-east
"Small flint rubble church of C12 origin. The west tower is C14 with stone rusticated quoins and a modern tiled pyramid roof. The chancel was built circa 1560. Red brick with C16 brick mullioned windows with 4-centred arches. The east window is of three lights and the south windows have two lights. The church was restored in 1885" (from the Grade II* listing).
