The plaque says "Wesleyan Chapel 1870" but the curtains and cards in the windows to me say a private house.

St. James Church, Ireby
The Church of St. James lying at the north end of the village of Ireby was built at least in part using stones from Ireby Old Church which lies to the west on the south side of the road to Torpenhow. The chancel of that old church remains standing.
