Old Milestone by the A69, Warwick on Eden
Metal plates attached to stone post by the A69, in parish of WETHERAL (CARLISLE District), Warwick on Eden, set into wall, on South side of road. Carlisle plate, erected by the Carlisle & Brampton turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-

Old Milestone by A69, Warwick on Eden
The Milestone is located set into wall on the South of the road. Parish of Wetheral (Carlisle District). Metal plate attached to stone post, Carlisle plate design, erected by the Carlisle & Brampton turnpike trust in the 19th Century. Restored July 2023 by Terry Moore.
