The Royal Scot, Langrigg Road, Morton - December 2018 (1)
One of the few post-1945 pubs built by the State Management Scheme, The Royal Scot opened on 31 March 1960. Still trading.
The mural depicts an unrebuilt "Royal Scot" class steam locomotive of the LMS.

Newlaithes is one of three infant schools in Carlisle, there used to be others but over the years they have been amalgamated with nearby junior schools to create all-through primaries for ages 3 to 11.
