Impatience
A Western Leyland Leopard (1977) is seen here climbing up towards Kirkby Stephen station on the A685. Also in shot is an example of some of the impatient individuals on the road overtaking at a dangerous location. Midland Cottages
Former railwaymen's cottages at Kirkby Stephen station. The Midland Railway built many such rows of cottages all the way up the Settle-Carlisle line. Most were of a similar pattern, only the local stone varied.
