Warcop's war memorial occupies a small green close to the centre of the village which is of course the location of a(n) MOD training camp.

Warcop War Memorial, Village Green, Warcop
Warcop is a village about 5 miles south-east of Appleby just to the south of the A66, Penrith to Scotch Corner road. The war memorial is a simple sandstone obelisk in an attractive location.
