Former "Board Inn", Senhouse Street, Maryport - June 2017
Also known as the Board Vaults and currently The Middle Tap, this early 19th Century pub was acquired by the State Management Scheme in February 1919. Sold in 1973, it is still trading. Late 18th or early 19th Century, the Golden Lion Hotel first appears in Jollies Cumberland Guide & Directory of 1811. Acquired by the State Management Scheme on 1 October 1916, it was sold to John Smiths Brewing Group on 1 May 1973. Still trading. See also: Image] .
