Workington Locomotive Depot, 1954
View northward to the wide front of the 12-road Shed. At the time, the Depot (code 12D) had an allocation of only 28, comprising 3 4-4-0s, 13 2-6-0s, 8 0-6-0s and 4 0-6-0Ts. Visible is a variety - or lack - of ex-LMS locomotives.

Furness Railway 0-6-0 at Workington Shed, 1951
View SE in the Shed yard near the ex-LNW Workington station is LMS No. 12509, one of the last surviving ex-Furness Pettigrew 0-6-0s, built 1920 as class D5 No. 32, becoming LMS No. 12509 and withdrawn as BR No. 52509 in 11/56.
