Former Police Station, Cockermouth
Due to the current climate of budget cuts the Victorian police station in the town centre has closed and sold off. The towns policing presence is now based at a site on the outskirts of the town which opened in June 2012.

Koppers the Former Police Station in Cockermouth
A plaque tells us this police station was built in 1894. Since 2017 it has been transformed into a cafe bar called Koppers. It offers coffees, drinks and meals with light music on some nights.
