Former Stanley's Joiners, Greta Side, Keswick
The former Stanley's Joiners workshop (see NY2623 : Stanley's Joiners, Greta Side by another author and my picture Image) in the process of conversion to a live-work unit for a furniture maker. Keswick Youth Hostel, 1987
"Former hotel on river bank near centre of busy and popular Lakeland resort at the northern end of Derwentwater", according to a 1980s YHA handbook. At the time it was classed as "Standard grade". Viewed from Station Road bridge over the river Greta. It is still open. The nearest building, not part of the hostel, has since been replaced by housing.
