Christmas decorations in Keswick
Early November and Keswicks Christmas decorations have already been erected. A large Christmas tree is in the foreground, motifs are above the streets and a typically Lake District scene is attached to the wall of the Moot Hall.

Moot Hall
The Moot Hall in Keswick's Market Square was built in 1813 and has an unusual one-handed clock. It has served as a courthouse, a prison, a museum and town hall. It is now houses a Tourist Information Centre.

The Moot Hall Keswick
Current building dates to 1813. Moot Hall is built of lime-washed stone and slate walling. There is a square tower at the north end. It features an unusual one-handed clock at the top.
