Road closed in King's Meaburn
In October 2018 I took and submitted a photo similar to this, and also one of the ford 250 yards ahead (in Image It was a gloomy day, and both were blurred and (rightly) rejected. So in June 2019 I returned on a much brighter day, hoping for better luck. I visited the ford again, but hasten to add that I walked down the hill - just as well, there was no turning space ahead. There seem to be several fords along this stretch of the River Lyvennet which are closed because in a dangerous condition.
