Malone Park
Malone Park is the largest private avenue in the United Kingdom. The majority of the 72 houses are Victorian, set in large grounds and were originally the homes of the Protestant owners of large linen mills in Belfast. The road is lined with lime trees which shed their leaves early.

McCracken Memorial Presbyterian Church, Belfast
On the Malone Road and designed by Hobart and Heron (1934 according to the datestone and 1932 in the architectural guide). At first it seems to represent the traditional style but the tower (left), reminiscent of a ventilation shaft on a London Underground station, grabs your attention saying “The times they are a-changing”. After WWII it became a case of “In with the new” Image
