Lagan Meadows is a 120 acre Nature reserve alongside the River Lagan with footpaths and woodland walks.

One of the entrances to the Lagan Meadows is from the towpath, near Moreland’s Meadow. The path rises and falls quite steeply as it makes its way, in a generally northerly direction, back to Stranmillis. This is a fairly typical wooded stretch.
