Strabane Bridge
It carries the B72 (Bridge Street) over the section of the Strule River known as the Mourne. The view from the Waterwall in the direction of the Waterside shows that it is well strengthened with metal tie rods.
My old boss, William Boggs used to recite a poem at our office parties, about 35-40 years ago that began something like, "The Waterwall is beautiful.."
I knew that the Waterside was on one side of the Foyle in Derry / Londonderry, but I didn't realise that it was located here in Strabane until I saw it on a map. I have noted that they are on different banks of the river.
