Site of John Grogan's garage / Porters Hotel, Omagh
It is located on the Mountjoy Road. I can remember the garage being there because it was where I bought my first mini in the early 1970s. Carlisle Villas is still on the left and there is a dental surgery there. I am trying to establish if Carlisle Terrace ever existed here.

Groogan House, Mountjoy Road, Omagh
Quite a few varied shops are housed under this little complex which once was the site of John Groogan's garage. I can remember buying a new mini here for less than £300. In 2007, the property has been sold and most of these businesses may have to re-locate.
