Snow on Portora's Rugby Pitches, Enniskillen
All the weekend's matchs were called off no doubt.
The pitches belong to Portora Royal School and are situated at Silverhill.

"Inish Davar", Enniskillen
Zooming in from here Image], from the MV Kestrel doing about 5 knots. It is interesting to note that this vessel has what appears to be a split at the front. This is due to the fact that it was brought to this location and the two bottom sections of the hull were bolted together and the top was set over the lower bit.

Portora Lock
Portora is the only lock in the Erne water system. It is a small lock beside a large weir and the only way in and out of Lower Lough Erne from Enniskillen.

The long arm of the law, Portora Castle
Portora Castle on the outskirts of Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh. The police were there on the eve of the G8 summit and were observing boat traffic coming in and out of Lower Lough Earne. The police presence in the area was very heavy - so much so that the car in this picture is not a police vehicle - it's a rented car.
