Agra Street, Belfast
Gable wall at the end of Agra Street in Belfast. Agra Street runs between Elgin Street and Herat Street off the Annadale Embankment and is one of several streets in the area named after cities in India and Afghanistan. On the wall is a large billboard advertisement for BT; below is an entertaining piece of graffiti "FAT PEOPLE ARE HARD TO KIDNAP" (not Belfast humour - a widely used slogan that probably originated in America).

A late 19th century street running from Herat Street (background) to the Ormeau Road. The houses are bigger than many in the immediate area. 100 years ago the residents included a jeweller, several clerical workers and a music teacher.
