Derelict building near Queen's University, Belfast
Forlorn, fenced and derelict property at the corner of Magdala Street (left) and the Sandhurst Road. It might once have been Granville House, the home of one John Craig a maker of packing cases. If anyone has a definitive answer I’d be pleased to know. Image shows the building under renovation and Image (September 2013) shows it after renovation and conversion to apartments..

No 123 University Street, Belfast
A mid-terrace house, possibly built in the 1870’s, currently vacant and offered for sale. The agent’s brochure describes it as a “Substantial period townhouse with rear garden offering excellent development potential (subject to planning) Six bedrooms : two reception rooms Large rear garden . . . . This property would ideally lend itself to some form of residential re-developement [sic], subject to planning”. This photograph appears as a matter of geographical and historical record only. I have no connection with any of the parties involved in the sale.
