"Bubbacue", Botanic Avenue, Belfast (November 2017)
A restaurant, in the style of east Carolina, at 93-95 Botanic Avenue - “Authentic BBQ uses smoke to flavour and tenderize meat, cooking it at a low temperature over a long period of time. Bubbacue embraces the art of this relaxed American tradition, with our chefs smoking brisket and pork for over 12 hours”.
I have no connection with the business. See

Nos 87-91 Botanic Avenue, Belfast (November 2015)
The former guest house, now semi-derelict and disguised, is being offered for sale as a “prominent redevelopment opportunity”. The agents’ website includes the following description “The property consists of three red brick period terrace properties, occupying a site of c. 0.09 acres. The building has sustained fire damage internally and has subsequently had a large section of the affected roof replaced. All interested parties should satisfy themselves with the condition of the property. We have been unable to gain internal access to the property due to its condition, however we estimate the gross floor plate of the existing structure to be c. 2,850 sq ft following a measurement completed using Spatial NI. The property was granted full planning permission in May 2009 for the conversion of guest house to 2 retail units on the ground floor and 23 self catering apartments above. Planning Reference Number: Z/2008/2071/F. Therefore subject to the necessary planning consent the property may be suitable for retail/residential redevelopment as we are advised the building is not included in the listed building register.”
