Blue Plaque in Donegall Pass commemorating "Ma" Copley, a Boxing Promoter
Clara (known also as Ma) Copley (1866-1949) was a Yorkshire-born boxing promoter famous for major fights held at the Belfast Chapel Fields Arena in the 1930s. The house in which she lived stands next to St Magdalene's Parish Church.
