Mound along Feddan Road
Some indications are the small hill on the left was the site of the old Friary. There may have been a round tower on the top of it. The local farmer told me that during the war years there was compulsory tillage of the land and he damaged the plough sock on several large stones in this area. It prompted him to investigate the legend of the old priory being located here and records in Dublin may confirm this.
