The Loop Bridge, Belfast
The Loop River flowing under the Loop Bridge on the Castlereagh Road. The Loop joins the Knock River Image a short distance downstream. Several streets nearby have “Loopland” in their names. The Connswater Greenway, Belfast
The Greenway alongside the Loop River between the Castlereagh Road and Ladas Drive. Here you can see the clever design of this part of the path which is raised and overhangs the river, allowing wildlife to flourish and humans to pass above. Kingfishers and Egrets are regularly seen here Image

Dereliction, 20 Cregagh Road
This building - once a fine home and later an insurance broker's office - now stands as an eyesore on the busy Cregagh Road. Planning permission had been granted to build apartments on the site although it has yet to materialise.
