The River Lagan at Magheralin (1)
The River Lagan, at Magheralin (sometimes “Maralin”), is normally little more than a stream. In this view, downstream from the Newforge Bridge (“Forge Bridge” on the OS map), it has burst its banks and the normal course is just about discernible. See Image for a view of the river at its normal winter level.
